I HAVE JUST FINISHED WATCHING HOW TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 AND I SWEAR THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIE TO WATCH EVER AND I REGRET EVERY BREATHING SECOND I HAVE IN MY  LIFE THAT I WASN'T ABLE TO WATCH THIS IN THE CINEMAS (BLAME MY SISTER BECAUSE SHE DITCHED ME AND WENT OUT WITH HER BOYFRIEND TO WATCH IT!!!)

Thesis Sampling at Marinduque Island, Philippines

Thesis Sampling at Marinduque Island, Philippines

The second and third week of August is the start of my unending six months duration thesis sampling in the faraway (like you have to cross seven mountains away), very hard to reached, limited transportation available thesis sampling site (Hinapulan River, Marinduque Island Philippines). I swear it was so tiring but at the same time so wonderful and fun. Here are some of my snapshots of the beautiful sceneries while travelling here at Marinduque.

Busy Body

Too busy to function

I'm so sorry I haven't updated my blog for the whole month of August because I was too preoccupied with the start our of thesis sampling in Marinduque. My body was so used and abused by all the mode of transportation we used just to get to our sampling site. We must literally cross seven mountains just to get to our sampling site (the Hinapulan river)!!! I couldn't comfortably move my body for ten (10) to twelve (12) travel hours we had. I didn't just experience this painstaking thesis adventure once but we went through the whole process twice in a row. This is because we have to go there first to ask for the permission of the municipality officials to conduct our study there which happened last last week and we have to go back again last week in order to really conduct out study and get our samples from the river. Take note that this is not the only thing that's happening in my life right now. Besides our thesis, we also had  a lot of other major subjects that requires tons of your time and attention to understand all the lessons. After I just got home from the two weeks of travelling to and from Manila-Marinduque and vice versa, even before I had a chance to breathe, we had our midterms and written take home exam in human anatomy and physiology (which took me all-night just to pull off a 20 pages back to back paper), long quiz and problem set and special problem defense/presentation in animal physiology (yeah lots of physiology thing going on), quiz in genetics and tomorrow exam in economic biology. Actually right now I feel that I'm actually forgetting something important that I have to do. But anyway, before I'm a student who is under a lot of stress and pressure, I'm also a teenager who is in the last year of "teenhood" (if that's how you call youngsterz this days) so I always hang out with my college best friends (who are the best people in the world!), my high school buddies (crazy guys!) and my best friend (special mention to sis ❤ ). I just couldn't manage my time anymore. But not today. Today I was absent from my genetic class but I was able to take a rest, be in the internet all day and write in my blog which is nice!

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION MOVIE REVIEW

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION MOVIE REVIEW

Yesterday was my sister's birthday so we decided to celebrate it by watching Transformers: Age of Extinction. I just like to announce first that this is the only transformers movie that I have watched in my entire life (yes, I know I missed so much in my life and what a loser I can be) and by far this is the best experience ever! It was the best thing to do this birthday weekend of my sister. So my advice to everyone who haven't seen it yet, watch it! Now!

Every Nation Concert

Victory Worship Night

The Hillsong United concert was not enough to satisfy the desire of our heart to praise and worship our One True King that's why when my friend discovered that there will be a concert (for free!) of Every Nation we decided to give it a go!

Start of my Last year at School/ Hillsong United Concert 2014 in Manila

4th Year of Being a Biology Student

I was not able to update my blog after our OJT at Nueva Ecija because I got so busy (and I'm sick). The start of a new school year that entails the unending battle with books and coffee and sleep began! I have to condition my body and soul for all the hardship and pain that we will encounter being seniors in our course. That's why we started our semester right by attending an amazing all for our one true King Concert of Hillsong United!

(Actual photos taken by yours truly inside the BFAR compound/hacienda ^_^ )

Being a biologist can be a curse and a blessing at the same time. I don't want to rant about all of my hardship and pain in taking this course (*rolls eyes) so let's focus on the brighter side of things. Being a biologist is a blessing because I get the chance to travel. We have this requirement (I'm pretty sure all college students do) to have an on-the-job-training program for whatever company we would like to apply (where we could exercise all of our laboratory skills of course)  in order to complete our subject Laboratory Apprenticeship this summer. My thesis partner and I choose DA-BFAR NFFTC because we know that it would equip us with knowledge and information about water quality management which is one of our topic in our thesis. To stop myself from being a nerd and talking about our thesis, I'll tell you how we got from Manila to Nueva Ecija. I will also enumerate the things we learned, what to bring and all the other important stuff you should know (but nobody told us) if you will go there for your OJT too. Nonetheless, this was one of the best experience ever in my life. No exaggeration. I will never forget this.

Home coming Gift: One Republic Love Runs Out Video is OUT!

Home coming Gift: One Republic Love Runs Out Video is OUT!

So I just got home from my Central Luzon exploring adventures for my on-the-job-training program and this is what awaits me when I opened my YouTube account after a very looooooong time of no internet connection in the province (Yes 2 weeks can feel that long). Ta-daa! One republic Love Runs Out Official Video is out! I have been waiting for their official music video because I know for sure this wonderful song will be a big hit like their "Counting Stars" in their Native Album. There's really something about their music that makes it so catchy and gives you that last song syndrome. The meaning of the song is also wonderful (much love for Ryan Tedder's  genius lyrics composition) and there are a lot of symbols in their music video. Some says that their music video is weird but I guess that's what makes them amazing. All of these non-comprehensive symbols and visual depictions is what makes them One Republic.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 6 "The Laws of God and Men" Review

Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 6 "The Laws of God and Men" Review

First of all, I would like to warn all of you readers and dear co-game of thrones fan that all of my opinions is based from a none song of fire and ice book reader. I swear I really would like to read the books in the future and be more knowledgeable about the realm but in the present I am not. I'm just an avid fan of the hit series. I must say that I am no game of thrones expert. Every time I watched the episode I really had no idea what will happen next. Anyway, this will be my first Game of Thrones review ever since I started my blog, well just three (3) days ago. So please feel free to make any corrections and laugh at my mistakes if I got any. You could also comment your reaction to my review. So here it goes :)

Jack the Giant Slayer: A Movie Review

Jack the Giant Slayer: A Movie Review

So while I have no internet connection yesterday, I decided to watch the only movie saved in my laptop. This is the only movie in my laptop because I just had it reformat to update it from windows 7 to windows 8 (My laptop is so old like 6 and a half years old already huhu). Anyways, I'm so glad that I have the time to watch this movie so here's my review about it.

My Top 10 Best Romantic Comedy Manga

My Top 10 Best Romantic Comedy Manga

I have always been a fan of manga but my first love really is anime. I started out watching Japanese anime from the moment my brain can remember what I'm doing (Which I guess is the same for all of us). From the legendary Dragon ball Z to my personal fave Sailor Moon to the undying-still-being-aired Doraemon, I'm sure the list goes on  and on about anime that we can associate with our childhood. I can even remember watching Shin chan in channel five (5). And yes, that's how my love for anime began. I really think you're missing out a lot in life if you're not into anime. I learned a lot of important stuff in life in watching this.

During my high school years, I became much more of an anime addict. Although I am really an anime addict, I am not the type to do cosplay (Because it's expensive and I don't have money nor the face haha). I am currently updating myself with my favorite anime One piece. I also watch Naruto, Fairy tail, Bleach, and many more (Really so much more and the list would probably take a big part in this post). And since I'm beginning to reached my curiosity about love during my high school days, I started watching romance anime series too.

Japanese romance anime is usually a twenty five (25) episode series. Although for others, it's good enough already I somehow can't get over to the ending. Usually, I felt that it was "bitin" or it keep me hanging on. That's how I discover the wonders of manga. I searched for the manga of the anime series that I have watched and  voila! There are so many stories and areas of their life that I have yet to know. So here's the list of the Romantic Comedy Manga I am currently or finished reading. Enjoy!

1. Last Game

I choose Last Game as my number one best romantic comedy manga because the story has the purest and sweetest form of love you could ever imagined. It exceeded my expectations about first love. You'll definitely fall in love with the Yanagi, the guy here in the story and Kujou, the girl he loves. They've been together since their kindergarten day up until elementary and high school and now, the present time setting is they are both college students now (Don't ask how it is done because you'll find it funny. A little spoiler: Yanagi is the one following Kujou wherever school she goes/self-made destiny haha). You get to see how their relationship is slowly evolving which makes it so much sweet. I feel so in love reading this. I get all giddy and my heart is banging my chest and I was shouting holding my mouth to minimize the noise whenever they have their oh-so-sweet moments. All I can say is true love really waits.

My Best Romantic Comedy Korean Movie

My Top 5 Best Romantic Comedy Korean Movie

Hi guys! Thank you for visiting my blog :) I've always wanted to do this list when I decided to make my own blog and now I have one so yay for me! Hope you guys would enjoy my first post and list.

1. Windstruck (2004)

This movie ranked 1 in my list because simply it contains all the stuff I want in a good rom-com movies. If you want to watch a movie that will make you laugh as much as it would make you cry, this is the best movie for you. The girl here in the story Officer Yeo Kyung-jin (Jun Ji-hyun), is a young female police officer and I always fantasize this kind of police/detective stories because of the jumped packed action in the story line. On the other hand, the guy here in the movie Go Myung-woo (Jang Hyuk) is a physics teacher in an all-girls high school with a strong sense of justice with a lovable personality. Watch as how the story unfolds and destiny does its magic for them to meet and fall in-love with each other. This movie is great for everyone experiencing different forms of love such as hopeless romantic gals or the i'll-never-get-over-him-type of girls out there. For sure you'll definitely love this movie and I think I watched this so many times already (approximately 8x) and yes this movie is that great.
